The participation from members was impressive and more than 70 women participated in the celebration, which marked the kicking off of the Karwa Chauth festivities in the Tricity. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we missed such get-togethers earlier. It was long awaited now. Each and every participant enjoyed the event to the hilt.”

Patle said that there were multiple activities and gifts for the participants. “There were fun games along with Tambola, a traditional ramp walk, and a group dance performance. There were punctuality gifts too.” She added that ‘Karwa Queen’ was one of the key attractions of the event and Pallavi Sharma was adjudged for this title.
