ACE Heart & Vascular institute celebrates Independence Day


Mohali: As part of the ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 76th Independence Day of the country was celebrated in a dignified manner at Mohali’s ACE Heart & Vascular Institute (Sector 69).

Mohali Municipal Corporation councillors Kuldeep Kaur Dhanoa and Aruna Sharma unfurled the national flag at the hospital premises followed by the national anthem infusing a sense of pride and respect for our nation.

Addressing the audience, institute Director and Chief Intervention Cardiologist and structural heart specialist Dr. Puneet K Verma greeted everyone with Independence day wishes and said that “we have attained freedom after a long struggle and so we should cherish it”.

Director of cardiac surgery at the institute Dr. Rana Sandip Singh emphasized efforts done by ACE Heart & Vascular Institute to achieve freedom from heart diseases through its preventive, paediatric, and adult cardiac services using the most advanced technology. In the end, institute administrator Col. Barinder Singh delivered a vote of thanks. BW

Chandigarh : Senior members of the National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA) attended a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event organized by the Imperial Imaging and Intervention Center , Chandigarh on the topic of ‘Radiological Intervention and Advancements.’ The CME was graced by Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Registrar of the Board of Ayurveda and Unani System of Medicine Punjab as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Ravi Doomra, Director, Ayurveda, Punjab, as the Guest of Honour. Manmohan Khanna wins Indian Institute of Architects poll

Ar Manmohan Khanna, Chairman, Indian Institute of Architects, Chandigarh Chapter Chandigarh:  Architect Manmohan Khanna has been elected as the Chairman of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Chandigarh Chapter, for the term 2023-25, in the recently concluded elections.
