29 years of film Deewana, Shah Rukh Khan thanks fans


29 years ago, Bollywood was blessed with one of the most versatile and talented actors. He could swipe you off your feet with his charming smile and unmatched acting skills. We are talking about the king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan, who clocks in 29 years in the film industry today. The actor made his debut in 1992 with Deewana.

Shah Rukh Khan may have been off the big screens for a while now, but his loyal fans never miss out on showering their love for the star. And, Shah Rukh Khan too shares a great relationship with his fans. Today, 29 years ago, Shah Rukh Khan made his debut with Deewana alongside Rishi Kapoor. Since then, SRK's popularity has just been on the rise.

Penning a note on his special day, the actor got emotional. He took to Twitter and wrote that he was overwhelmed by the love he had received in the past three decades. He promised his fans that on the big day, he would take out some time from his work and interact with them.

"Been working. Just saw the ’overwhelmed ness’ of the lov of nearly 30 yrs u r showering on me here. Realised it’s more than half my life in the service of hoping to entertain u all. Will take out time tomorrow & share some love back personally. Thx needed to feel loved (sic)," read his note on Twitter.
