Rang De Basanti, a motorcycle ride in memory of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev & Rajguru organised
Mohali: Rang De Basanti (RDB) motorcycle ride, which is an annual edition of 'Thumpers Group' - a bikers' group of tricity, was flagged off by Ashok Thapar and Tribhuvan Thapar, who are from the family of Shaheed Sukhdev. The duo was joined by Hemant Jindal, Umang Jindal and Puneet Bhandari from Homeland Group and Pankaj Sethi in the flag off of the ride. The bike ride started from CP 67 Mohali and culminated at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral hometown of Shaheed Bhagat Singh located in Shaheed Bhagat singh Nagar at a distance of about 100 Km from Chandigarh . The RDB ride is an event that is organised as a tribute to the legendary Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, to coincide with the martyrdom day of the trio, which is observed on Mar 23.
